Weekly progress

 

This is my weekly progress on my adverts projects

Week 2:

- Learn about target audiences, I think this topic is very intriguing as I joined other subject such as business and there are a lot of similarities which make the learning more interesting.

- Camera shots brief, a new topic for me so I really enjoyed learning it.

Week 3:

- Learn about camera angles and movement, interesting and fun topic.
- Demographic and psychographic target audience, get to know more how to identify audiences.
- Start analyzing and researching adverts.
To do: need to research 2 more adverts and analyzed it, and finish mini project.

Week 4:

- Specifically identifying target audience for projects
- Identifying and analyzing mise-en-scene, which I enjoyed and really develop my analyzing and critical thinking skill
- To do list: finishing up with the target audience research, start to make the story boards.

Week 5:

- Start learning about sound: diegetic and non-diegetic sound, engaging topic to learn about and I really enjoyed identifying.

- Learn and practice on making story board

Week 6:

- We learn about editing, I think edit is the hardest out of all of the elements and I need to work more on identifying the edits. 

- We also analyze some some videos and practice to identify the edit, sound, mise-en-scene, and camera movements and angles. I think it is fun but also challenging to identify all of them. 

Week 7

- Video analysis practice 

- Unit test camera angle and movements 

- Finishing storyboard draft which I think quite challenging 

Week 8:

- Starting the final story board project I think its pretty difficult to rearrange and organize everything, but overall I enjoy the process of finding the right camera movements / edit. 

- I started my self reflection I think its quiet okay and enjoyed on reflecting what I should improve on. 

Week 9:

- I learned about passive and active audience, I think it is very interesting as now in this digital era we as a young generation could relate to this topic.

- This also includes the hypodermic needle, two step flow, desensitisation, and social learning which I found each of them very appealing to learn.
